This mod is created for Need For Speed Most Wanted and it replaces Corvette C6. Car itself is created by Electronic Arts for Need For Speed ProStreet. It was imported from that game by MKIIITwinTurbo from NFSCars.net. This mod can be shared in the internet as long as Electronic Arts stays as the only author.
1. Installation

If you don't have NFS:MW Mod Loader yet go and download it from here:

Copy the folders "CARS_REPLACE" and "FRONTEND" to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Need For Speed Most Wanted\ADDONS and paste it there. If your computer asks that should existing files be overwritten click yes. Make sure that your FRONTEND does not have any other files that begin with 45-NAME.BIN. If so, delete those except 45-AUTOMOTIVE.BIN. Otherwise you'll see most likely the wrong manufacturer-logo in game.

3. FAQ

Q: Why I can't maximize this car in performance even though I use ultimate-parts?
A: I wondered this too. You don't actually need to tune it up since it is so light already and as a stock it goes (if I remember correctly) to 310 km/h.
Q: Why I can't add/exchange roof-scoops?
A: This is because F1 uses already as stock roof-scoop. We can't make game to exchange it, it does not work like spoilers and rims.
Q: On kits 4 & 5 exhausts-flames and reverse-light appear incorrectly. Why?
A: This is because F1 does not have those on the same height on later kits than it does on earlier ones. So if you use kits 0 to 3 you're fine. Kits 4 and 5 are only problematic ones since we can't modify those locations more to than one level.

Calster17: Actually this was the last one from NFSPS to NFSMW by me. I don't see any other cars that I would need from that game to MW. I'll inform if I find something worth from NFSPS to be converted to MW. I don't take suggestions from members, only staff and modellers (not including Exotic Lover).
this is the best mclaren yet( ive downloaded every one) could you possibly convert the jaguar xk-r from carbon?

WOW!!!! another great car for NFSMW. I would like it though if you could do something about the performance. I mean the aceleration and handling are fine but 310kph is a bit lame.

FerrariF401984: It's as close as I could get to the real McLaren F1. 310 kph is great speed, only Veyron goes faster than that (from what I've converted). If you maximize your vehicle it can go over 350 kph.
It's funny how some read the readme only but don't test the car. It's not a problem, I just find it funny.
310 Kph? Wtf, stock Mclaren F1s top out at 231 Mph, which is roughly 372 Kph.
Also I found that the rear wheel is MASSIVE compared to the front one, which looks like its 15 inches.
Other then that great conversion, love the bodykits, except for 1 which looks the same, but no big deal.
Punjab: I might be updating this mod later. Since I don't have NFSPS and I don't want to update it now I can't update those tires, I'll look up to it later. Also, I said that this is as close as I can get it. I might try later on to make stock to 372 kph (which is insane Imo, since it would be really close to the Veyron). Bodykit 1 is different from stock, it is not just that visible. If I remember correctly it makes difference to front bumper a bit.
For now, just enjoy the mod. I've done this with MKIIITwinTurbo a lot and now it is out. Be even glad that it is here.
Tires
The McLaren F1 uses 235/45ZR17 front tyres and 315/45ZR17 rear tyres. They are specially designed and developed solely for the Mclaren F1 by Goodyear and Michelin. The tyres are mounted on 17x9 inches and 17x11.5 inches cast magnesium wheels, protected by a tough protective paint.
@Punjab .There ya go , take a look at the metric size of the tire not the wheel , big difference isn't it.
The top speed that has been achieved is 240.1mph
@MkIIITwinTurbo : I was referring to the size of the rims which are completely different and shouldn't be. The diameter of the front and back wheel (with rims and tires) should be the same. I know it has wider tires in the back.
The 240 mph was achieved by the XP Prototype and NOT the production model.

@Punjab You missed the point I was trying to make on the tires. Now the wheels is the same 17"

So you see the overall diameter is quite a bit larger for the rear tires. Now when you do a MW conversion it only gives you one wheel(tire assembly) to work with and any sizing has to be done in the attributes file. When the game resizes tje tires for the rear it resizes the wheel also , can't be helped .
Hey Villain seems that people aren't happy with the conversion , should delete I would say...just my opinion though.

@MkIIITwinTurbo: Where are you getting those numbers from, I looked everywhere and it says everywhere that all the wheels have the exact same diameter.
@Villain: Don't remove it man, if you feel like updating it later go for it, if not it's all good, I still get to drive the McLaren either way :).

Ummm....no. 1998 McLaren F1 Top Speed: 243 MPH.
@BMW Williams F1: Ummm....don't speak. Official top speed is 231 MPH with the stock 7500 RPM rev limiter.

The air restrictors are used only on the racing versions, and the street version DID have a rev limiter.

Anyway that is one great car. But people like McLaren replacing SLR instead of CORVETTE because of of general performance differences.
I agree with DanielKeller coz da SLR is better dan da CORVETTE and shouldn't McLarens b replaced by McLarens.
